Toxicity Testing

The level of toxic gases produced during burning is a critical factor in passenger survivability. It is for this reason that acceptance levels of specific gasses have been agreed internationally. Almost every material used in passenger compartment of commercial aircraft are required to meet these requirements. By taking samples of gas as a material is burning it is possible to determine if the material meets the requirements.Testing can be conducted to a range of standards such as FAR, JAR, BSS, BS,EN,ISO,ASTM, and DIN

Including:-

ABD0031                      BSS7239

DEF STAN 02-713 toxic gas test

TOXICITY AITM3-0005  to ISSUE 2

Using selective Ion electrodes for the HF & HCL as well as the Flue gas analyser for CO,NO,NOx,SO2

UKAS Accredited-see UKAS schedule

OSU testing ( heat release)

The ability to predict the heat performance of material used in aircraft interiors is a requirement of many aviation authorities and aircraft manufactures. Contact us for details of sample size etc.Testing can be conducted to a range of standards such as FAR, JAR, BSS, BS,EN,ISO,ASTM, and DIN

Including:-

FAR 25.853 Appendix F  JAR 25.853 Appendix F
