Test specimen gauging

At JCST we have the training and experience in attaching strain gauges to a wide range of materials from composite through to ceramics. Strain gauging of tensile samples for both longitudinal and transverse strain measurement is routine and we can encapsulate our gauges to enable conditioning of the specimen.

Product gauging

Strain gauging of product prior to testing can give valuable information as to performance. Even large structures such as Industrial Filters under pressure test can be strain gauged at JCST to enable critical data to be obtained.
